Positive ovulation test 12DPO?!

I accidentally opened an ovulation test instead of a pregnancy test and after noticing I was even more shocked to see that it was positive. What does this mean? Anyone ever had this happen before? I attached a photo of my original positive ovulation test from April 21st and the one above is from today May 3rd. I also took a pregnancy test which is negative. I'm so confused. Also my cycles change each month between 30 - 35.

I personally wouldn't say either of those is positive- their close but both look lighter to me. Also a secondary lh surge can happen a day or two before af sometimes and can cause a dark or even positive opk just before af. Some women say they get positives on opks before a positive on a hpt but it isn't lkley to happen often. Generally, if women get a positive on an opk when pregnant it is way after when a hpt would be positive.
