Positive test then period

1 week ago I was due on, as I am regular I did a test. Clear blue monitor said 1-2 weeks pregnant. Yesterday my period arrived, fairly heavy no pain and no sign of finishing soon. I did another clear blue test and it still says pregnant but also stills say 1-2 weeks. Has the pregnancy been lost?

In my last pregnancy the clear blue test said 3+ strait away. A little confused now and really worried that I'm not pregnant anymore. Has anyone got any advise? Thank you

Only way to know for sure is to go for a scan. Hope it turns out well, I wouldn't like to speculate as it isn't fair on you xx

The thing I've learnt from this whole TTC things is that you can look up absolutely anything and find a multitude of different answers / reasons. With the bleeding you could well still be pregnant or sadly you could be losing the pregnancy - as mumo20 said the only way to tell is a scan. Really hoping it goes ok for you tomorrow

I can't really answer your question but I can say I had 2 completely normal periods my usual 1 st day light 3 days heavy then 2 days going off it. Both exactly the same as they have been since I started having them and I was pregnant. All my tests showed negative though and about a week ago I took 6 tests and got a positive on all of them although light lines. The dr says I'm 7 weeks along I wish you luck and pregnancy!

The best way to know is for them to check your hCG/beta levels- usually they do 2- 24/48 hours apart. You are too early for a scan, they won't even see a sac and will tell you that you have miscarried when there is a chance you didn't.

Agree with radiance. Scan is pointless right now, you will get more results with beta test every 48 hours to see if levels as doubling. You won't see anything on the scan yet.
