Positive urine, Positive blood, negative urine??

I had a vv faint positive on a hpt with a sensitivity of 25mIU/ml. Then two days later I had a blood test that came back with a level of 12.6 Today I went to the doctor and my urine test came back negative. They took a beta hcg test and I should get the results tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone? Or do you know what to make of it? Could I be having a miscarriage even though I don't have any spotting or bleeding?

Well, I know it is not the same thing, but I had a negative urine and then a negative blood and three positive urine including 2 digi's....I have not been to the OB yet so I don't know what is going on...If I were you I would not worry unless I see blood or at least until you get your results...Doctors test are not 100% accurate unless it is blood then still they can be wrong

Their test could be 25miu or 50 miu. If your blood was 12.6 then it very well could not show up on their urine tests. And plus, they won't tilt, take out of case, and squint to see a faint line like us talented ladies(; You're pregnant, and fine. Trust me!! I'd be totally shocked if something was wrong! No worries, relax. Congrats and a happy, healthy 9 months!

i recently had similar situation, my urine was postive, then positive bloods at 136, the negative urine the same day, then they did a repeat blood and it came back at 370, i wouldnt stress to much, the doctors test are really high sensitivity, always go by bloods =) good luck and fx

Even if the second urine test was done a week after the first blood test?

Hmmmmm......a week?? That would be long enough to get a decent BFP. I would not start to worry until you get your bloods back. Like another PP said, at the doctors, they dont keep the test for 10 minutes, it is 3 minutes max, and if nothing is there, or the line is too faint, it is determined to be a negative. Have you taken anymore HPT?? GL fingers crossed for you!!! Please KUP!

Well I took another hpt last night and I think there was a vv faint line. I didn't keep checking it though. I threw it in the trash five mins later because I was so upset, thinking something is wrong! I should get my results this morning or afternoon!

Well the results are back. The level is 5.3 I'm miscarrying!

Ok so now I'm really confused! The doctor thinks that I'm still pregnant but very early. She doesn't think I'm miscarrying because I'm not bleeding or cramping and wants me to make an appointment for when I'll be 10 to 12 weeks! WTH? Has anyoneever experienced this or what is your make on it?
