Possibly a stupid question!

This is probably a really stupid question but I haven't been able to work it out on my own so I need to ask.

I want to get William a stocking from Mamas and Papas for Christmas and being as it has the option to personalise it I would like to get his name put on. However I although it says that the stocking can be personalised it doesn't give me any option to do that.

Usually there is a little box to add the name you want put on and the additional cost that would be but that its not showing. It let me go through the checkout right up to giving payment details but didn't ask me.

So am I missing something obvious? I have e-mail Mamas and Papas but I want to know now so I can order it.

I think they mean you can personalise it yourself I don't think they actually do it for you. I clicked into some of the other items and they say
Can be personalised by embroidering babies name

So I think they are stupidly adding it as something you can do. Which is silly as you could say that about anything !!!

Thank you, I think you must be right. It is a pretty stupid thing to put on there, it just causes confusion.

I am not 100% but just they way they worded it on other items makes me think so ! I think they are being sneaky trying to sell more that way.

I am pretty confident you are right, if there was any real way to personalise it there would be the option somewhere before purchasing it, usually adding a name costs extra money and they would want to make as much money as possible.

Plus my husband says the picture of the stocking with the name on has the name done with fabric pen which would be an example of how you could do it at home.

I am more annoyed about the fact they are attempting to mislead me than not being able to get a name put on. I am still getting it though because I like the design.

Nooooo Mamas & Papas do personalise, its £3 (I think!) extra for them to do it. Usually you can add it to basket so not sure whats happening or if you go instore they'll arrange for it there. xx
