Post-Baby Periods

Hi ladies, just wondering what the general consensus is on periods. I had a c-section, and had my first period about seven weeks postpartum, which I believe is pretty normal.

Then I've had three since, but they've been irregular and two were REALLY heavy. The last one I had I actually got for a week like normal, but then it started up again a week after it had stopped (lighter and less duration though). I've heard you can take up to a year to get back on regular cycles, so I haven't been worried...just wanted to see what your experiences were?

I'm glad you posted this because I was just getting ready to post something similar. I had a C-section 5 weeks ago.. I'm waiting for a period or a reason to take a pregnancy test.. I guess I am just anxious for things to get somewhat back to normal in there!
