Post pregnancy belly bands/wraps?

I'm afraid I've been really lazy and haven't read the whole thread, so apologies if this has already been asked...

There's a chance I may have to have a repeat C-Section. Is a belly wrap OK to use afterwards? When I had my son, I had a Section and I tried to let the incision air as much as I could... However, I really like the idea of the wrap, and think it would be really beneficial (especially as I have a toddler to chase around after this time too!) Any ideas? :flower:

They are even more highly recommended after a section :D x

For anyone looking for a slightly cheaper alternative I've just ordered this one

Its streamline like the belly bandit and super cheap £16.99! Postage is free!! :D and even states in the description post childbirth.

I'll update this when I receive it (2-3 days according to the website) on quality etc xxx

do you have to buy more than one size of this? i've heard they don't last you long before you need another one in a smaller size? thanks x

Both me and AnaNicole were told by the shopkeepers just to buy the size down. The shopkeeper said I might not be able to wear it for a week or two, but it wouldn't really matter. I'm debating buying the bigger size anyway. Another option would be to buy the larger size in the cheaper version since you won't be wearing it very long.

If you were buying for C-section support, you might want to be able to wear it right away?

Hi Ladies,

I'm located in the UK and I purchased a Vespa & The Ladybird post pregancy belly wrap.

I must admit I wasn't sure about the wraps at first but after using this wrap I am very happy with the results.

This brand seemed to be the best priced and qaulity it great also.

Mary
