Just had stretch and sweep and my cervix was posterior. To go into labour apparently ur cervix has to move forwards. So looks like ill be here a little while longer!!!! :(

Has anyone else experienced this?? xx

She said she can't see me having the baby over the next few days! I've got an appointment on 26th to possibly try sweep again and make a booking with hospital to discuss induction dates!
What did yours say?
Xx

I go back on tuesday to have another sweep....i hate them too ...soooo uncomfortable!!!
my induction is booked for friday 27th.

Was ur sweep uncomfortable cos of the cervix position?

My cervix was also posterior and completely closed at my last appointment, although she did say there was some shortening and softening. I haven't had a sweep yet, I'm over by 2 days today

It was only slightly uncomfortable, I had to put my fists under my back to lift myself up.

Does this mean we have no chance of labour starting anytime soon?

Xx
