I had my 20 week scan on Monday which revealed I have partial posterior previa.
The sonographer didn't really say too much about it. Just said that I would need to be rescanned at 32 weeks.

I've been having pains at the very bottom of my stomach and just assumed that it was my uterus expanding. This was before my scan so I never knew about the placenta position then. I even woke up one night with a real bad pulling pain.

Since Monday I have been a lot more aware that the placenta is in a different place to my first pregnancy and I have continued to have this pulling pain - more so when I pick up my daughter or move suddenly.

Is this type of pulling pain normal? I've had no bleeding or anything.

And I know that baby is doing well as he/she is always moving and has some right strong kicks which is always reassuring :)

Thanks for reading! :flower:

Call your doctor or midwife.
Its good if your not bleeding, but I think your mum's heart will be better if you speak with a professional.

I done that (posterior low placenta) and I am better now. Baby is ok and all measures were ok on my last scan! :)
