Help! Has anyone had a low posterior placenta that has eventually moved?
I had my 20 week scan yesterday and I was told it was low but they didn't say how close or anything :dohh:
I really really don't want a c section and was wondering if anyone had experienced this and everything worked out?

i believe it normally moves on its own as the uterus grows and then the placenta finds the perfect place to be most of the time.

im sorry im not much help as im now wondering the same thing- i have my 20 week scan tomorrow morning and i have no idea what to expect as ive always wanted to know the position of my placenta. i have felt baby kicking ever since week 12 and this is my first pregnancy, so its definitely not an anterior placenta. when i went for a private gender scan, the guy told me my baby girl is right at the surface of my skin and thats why i feel her moving so easily. could this mean a posterior placenta? if the sonographer tomorrow tells me anything about my placenta ill definitely push getting answers.

I was told I have an anterior placenta at my 18 (20w) scan. I've been able to feel movement since 15w and now it's really strong. It makes me wonder if it moved.

I had an anterior placenta and it's moved now to the correct position so they do move! :flower:

I was told my placenta was low at my 20 week scan and at the time I hardly felt any movement but since then I've suddenly started feeling lots more and much stronger movements so I'm guessing that mine has moved too

I have a posterior placentra (if I'm reading my sonographer's handwriting correctly!!) They told me mine is close to but not covering my cervix at my 12 and 20wk scans. She didn't seem to be too concerned but did say if it moves over my cervix it will have to be a cs. I have a growth scan at 34 wks scheduled so I guess I'll know more for certain then.

That's what I was told too!! I go back at 28 weeks to see if it has moved! Fingers crossed for both of us!!
