Hi all,
I was given a potty by my aunt as I mention in general chit chat that I think ALeysha may be ready as she knows what the process of going for a wee/poo is (do a wee/poo, wipe, close the toilet lid, flush and wash hands).
Now, I've put the potty in the front room so she gets used to it and sat right on it. I asked her 'Are you going to do a poo and wee in the potty?', she says 'No, I do poopy in my appy'. So looks like I'm going to have a proper job getting her to go on it.
She previously had a problem going for a poo. She has blisters when we were in Turkey from using their own wipes (she was 8 months) and both myself and hubby think it's a psychological thing where she STILL thinks it hurts to go. From that, she got a bit constipated and quite often has Movicol to help things along.
How do I start the potty training process? What do I do?
Any advise is much appreciated.
