pre-natal vitamins??

Hello all I had my coil taken out today myself and hubby are going to start trying for another baby what are the best pre-natal vitamins/brand to get? X

Hiya, dunno about brand recommendations but any multivitamin for mothers to be should do the trick, should have folic acid in it (avoid vitamin A though) Ideally start taking them at least one month before conceiving.

Hey I take Santagen Mother to be! Apparently they are quite good. I also have DH taking something as well! )

I take a Tommy's one suitable for TTC and pregnancy. Tried Pregnacare Conception which is meant to be good for a bit but it didn't agree with me.

Ummmmm. Just looked at your question Treykid and realised all 3 of us who listed brands are based in the UK. I get mine in Boots (like a drug store) or in the supermarket - don't know of any US brands though.

My doctor recommended any generic/store brand. I'm currently taking a chewable PNV called Belly-bar. They're pretty tasty, but kind of $$. I'll be switching to something else once these are gone.
