The first is pre pregnancy (a year after my son was born) and the rest are me now 2 weeks after having my beautiful baby girl :) xx last one at about 33 weeks...........i still got a way to go to get to pre pregnancy but its not sooooooooooooo bad lol x

Sorry to drag this thread up (although I notice it's not totally died out from when I last read it) but this thread gave me loads of hope when I was pregnant and feeling rough, so thought I should add my pics too!

I just spent aaaaages looking for this thread, then realised I was looking in the wrong section :haha: I'm sure it used to be in baby club

I don't look as good as any of the mummies who have already posted their pics, but we gotta cater for all eventualities right?!

This is me at 10 weeks pregnant:
https://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs148.snc1/5491_100551017241_635572241_2610437_2212651_n.jpg

23 weeks (just before the major stretchmarks hit):
https://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs194.snc1/6531_115813202241_635572241_2837577_288124_n.jpg

Then the first two pics are 6 weeks PP :)sick: eurgh....the stretchies make me feel sick). You can see my C-section scar in there too, for those worried about having a c-section
The next two are today (7+ Months PP) and again, can see the section scar (please excuse the bum cleavage ), and the stupidly dark bump pic is at 39 weeks at my works xmas party. She was born at 41 weeks weighing 9lb11 !

I weigh 1stone (14 pounds) more than pre pregnancy, but I was 'underweight' before pregnancy and had a BMI of just 18  I now have a healthy BMI of 20!! I have made no effort toward losing weight or anything, which is probably why it's taken 7 months just to get to this point. I couldnt diet even if I wanted to coz I was breastfeeding, and I'm too lazy to exercise :rofl:

Hope you lovely ladies who have just had, or just about to have, your LO's can find some reassurance in this thread, and that losing your pre-preg body is not the end of the world like I thought it was, and that you dont have to get it back in 3 weeks :hugs::hugs:xxx

ETA - Just noticed that you cant actually see my C-section scar in the most recent pics...it is below my knickers. But it is barely noticeable these days anyway  x

aly888 - Thanks for the update. I think you look great! More ladies need to realize that 9 months of weight gain and baby stretching the belly doesn't just fall right off for most women.
I was one of the lucky ones, but your 23 week pic looks more like my full term one, so it's no wonder I happened to bounce back quickly.

aly888 THANK YOU FOR YOUR PICTURE!!

I'm 8 weeks PP and my belly currently looks like your early one, and I can't believe the difference between that and your latest one.

You made me feel a lot better today thank you :flower:
**(Oh dear, OH caught me looking at this. If it makes you feel better, he thinks you are cute.. LOL)

Exactly Seity  I know there are you lucky lucky ladies out there who either A, dont get any (or very few) stretchmarks, or B, shrink back down before you can say "maternity jeans" :haha: or for some of you, BOTH!! but I think it's much more common for women to get at least some stretchmarks, and to take a little bit of time to get their tum back down. Like I said, I dont go to the gym or do any exercises at all (beyond walking to the shops and back) and I suffered severe stretchmarks, but I'm not even to the 9 months yet and I can see such a huge improvement

Aliss, glad it helped :hugs: Please dont look at your body at just 8 weeks pp and think 'oh god, is this it for the rest of my life' coz it really isnt! Now that my LO is entertaining herself alot more and happy to sit and play on her own I think I am going to try and get in some more toning exercises etc, but as Seity says, it takes 40 weeks for your body to get like that, so you shouldnt expect to go back to how you were in just 4 months :hugs::hugs: xx

ETA - I like to think I could look as good as ema (the OP) one day, but from what I read, she was doing sit-ups etc almost every day, and I just dont have the discpline for it...but it's good to know it's not impossible :flower:

Hi girls,

I've loved this thread, it's given me a lot of support and made me realise that everyone has insecurities. I've been extremely fortunate with my skin and was extremely lucky to not have got any stretchmarks. I think in my case, it is hereditary, my aunt (who's had twins and another), my mum, Grandma etc all had 0 stretchies.

So anyway, here's my 5 week pregnancy piccie, size 8, 9stone 12lbs.

Here's my 42 week pregnancy piccie, 14 stone dead.

https://i565.photobucket.com/albums/ss97/MrsVenn/Bump/41Weeks4.jpg

Here's my 3 week post pregnancy piccie, size 12-14, 11 stone 7lbs. I have a long way to go and need to do a lot of toning but am extremely pleased with the way my body has coped. I don't have a perfect figure but it is very liveable with at the moment and I think in 9 months time, will look much more even and less wobbly. It definitely looks fine with clothes on ;)

your belly looks fab - mine still looks more wobbly than yours.

Do you know what, it looks smooth but it is soooooo jelly like, it's really soft and squidgy! I quite like it, lol!! What I really need to work on is my bum and thighs...the birthing ball is coming back out, lol! xxx

Thank you honey, I was very lucky but I think it was in the genes. I had them when I was 13 though don't forget so do have them ;)

Ooo ok I'll add you, there's some pics on there of Molly but I need to do a birth story when I get mroe than a minute. Hope you're ok, I saw your piccies and you look fab, I don't know why you were ever worried about your tummy, ok yes you have some stretchies but they're going to fade so soon and if you keep slapping on the fake tan (nothing wrong with a bit of a tan, hides a multitude of sins ;)) no one will ever notice them. Mine are soo light now on my hips so they'll get there :) xxx

The 1st pic is me on my due date, I went another 12 days over so got even bigger. The 2nd pic is me now 4 days PP.
