Well im in a bad mood today so thought i could do with some cheering up...

soooooo who has pregnancy brain..lol..

i do!!!! i got aparking ticket the other day after buyign a pay and display ticket and putting it in my bag whilst i go off shopping... doh!!!

so what silly things have u been doing...lol.xxx

I've just become stupid in general.

I'll ask what the date is, and then ask again a minute later. I cannot retain ANY information whatsoever and that's all my job is. I can't remember if I've done something or asked anyone else to do something.

I also have no energy whatsoever,

I despair.

I got halfway through measuring out my cereal the other morning when I realized Id picked up the hamster food instead. It's not even kept in the same cupboard!!!

I also suffer from this too :) I have done loads of little things, like shaving the same leg twice and forgetting about the other one. Forgetting to give people messages! Oh, I am sure I can come up with a ton more but it would require thinking

At least you realised before you started eating it! I put the kettle in the fridge yesterday.....

I go into rooms to get something then completely forget why i've gone in there.
The other morning i was looking for my keys couldn't find them anywhere and i'd left them in the front door over night! Whoops!

Hairspray under the arms instead of deodorant... The list is endless, however I can't remember where I put the list ;)
xx

The only thing I've been forgetting lately is whether or not I took my medication for the day. Thankfully, I've not had the dreaded pregnancy brain! :)

I was making coffee and cereal this morning, and put coffee and sugar in the cup whilst kettle was boiling, then I poured the mini weetabix................................................. into the coffee cup, lol I had to pick it out (about 5 pieces) luckily my breakfast didnt taste of coffee nor did the coffee have floaty bits in it!!!! I told myself off for being so silly!!

I'm having trouble remembering when I last washed my hair, I've given up and decided I'll wash it as I don't have the energy to remember if I did it this morning!
I've got a little notepad which has notes on everything from shopping lists, to train times to questions for the midwife. Trouble is I forgot I had my notepad in my handbag when I went to the midwife today, doh!

Ooh me, I do silly stuff all the time. Unfortunately my job requires me to be extremely alert (emergency services) and I find myself checking and checking again that I have done things correctly. It is annoying because I pride myself on being on the ball usually!

Hooray!! Its not just me!!

I call it mince brain.. I have good days and bad days.

I forget something that someone has only just told me. For instance, I made an appointment at the hairdressers today. As soon as i'd walked out the door i'd forgotten the day i'd booked it for so I went back in to ask again. The stylist wrote it on a card for me. Good idea. Until I got into the car and realised i'd left it on the counter. Of course I went back to get it. Luckily there was a customer waiting who was due her baby any day and she had explained to the women there about pregnancy brain so I didn't feel a fool walking back in again!!

Also, I went to see the midwife this morning. Mislaid my sample bottle and could not remember where i'd put it. Wasn't until I left the surgery that I had a horrible thought. I'd packed it in with my OH's lunch for the day.. Ooopsie!!! He had a huge shock when he opened his bag at tea break!!

I wonder what i'll do next!!

Lol! I am laughing so hard at the silly things I can barely type lol!!!!!

My most recent stupid thing is when I was making onion gravy to have with tea tonight I took the pan off the hob, poured some granules in and then put the jar of granules back onto the lit hob!!!! Luckily I realised straight away and glad it wasn't a cardboard bisto container but a glass jar! Silly baby brain!

Me and my TA at school have been laughing loads about this as she has menopausal brain and I have baby brain!!! We have no hope!! xx

I forgot to mention the amount of spoons I've thrown in the bin instead of the yoghurt pots.....

Omg that's hilarious, I almost choked on my tea!

My favourite so far of mine is when I saw the thread on here called "Anyone gave birth in Woolwich?" and genuinely thought... "what, the bank?" I'm quite bright really, honest!

I also suspect I might be shampooing my hair at least 3 or 4 times in the morning, but I can never remember if I have or not!

I'm usually pretty forgetful but since being pregnant it's got so much worse! I rang my surgery yesterday to cancel an appointment ... That I hadn't even made!! I keep forgetting about my dinner and the other day I put shampoo in the washing machine ... Oops!

 I poured my Coco Pops into my cup of tea this morning!! :haha:

Yay I'm not alone, I had a foggy brain when pg with #3 but never this bad, OH hasn't had a dinner thats not burnt in at least a week. I've told everyone in work now which makes things a bit easier as they are more forgiving of my scatterbrained ways :D

I did that this morning! Could not remember, for the life of me, whether I'd already put conditioner in!
