Pregnancy test slightly lighter

Hi Ladies - I'm not overly worried just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and had a positive outcome.

I have just gone through IVF and I tested on Saturday Morning 8dp3dt (11DPO) with a FRER and I had a very faint line, when I tested yesterday it was much darker but today is just slightly lighter than yesterday.

I've decided i'm only going to test on Wednesday and lastly on Friday because you can read to much into these tests and what ever will be, will be.

Hi Hun mine where like this I just got a clear blue digi done that it come up 3+ and I stopped as all tests have different amount of dye in them x

i think few factors why could be lighter. I was testing daily they went lighter, i remember reading can take 2-3 days for hcg to get stronger.
did test week later took all colour out the control line.

I had this too. What I would do is use 2 different tests in the same urine and sometimes get such different results it was amazing (from a lot darker to a bit lighter). I wouldn't take any notice of one test hun XXXX

Thanks Ladies - I think with going through IVF it makes you a little more paranoid. I'm definitely only going to test on Wed/Fri them I'm stopping. Friday is my official test day with my clinic (17DPO). I'll only be 4weeks tomorrow so it's still super early. I think its time to just stay positive and hope for the best.

I wasn't sure if it had lost a lot of colour or just a bit. I convinced myself its just a slight change in colour and like you say it can take a while for HCG to increase.

My 11dpo test was lighter than my 10dpo test, couple that with some spotting and I really freaked out, then at 14dpo I got 2-3 weeks on a digi, so my hormones must be going up, try not to panic as much as I did hun, I'm sure it'll all be fine

Mine was a little lighter on a subsequent test. I blamed it on having more water in my system

I am an IVF'er too! I am surprised your clinic is having you wait so long. My official test date was 10dp3dt.

It does seem like an awfully long time to wait but it must be their regular procedures. At least when I go it should be well established.

I forgot to say I woke up at 5:30am and went for a wee and then I tested with my 8am wee so it might not be classed as my first wee of the day.
