Hey everyone,

I'm curious as to what kind of prenatal vitamins you're all taking? I've been taking One-A-Day prenatal but I'm thinking of switching. What have your experiences been with prenatals? Has your doctor recommended any particular brand?

I'm taking a generic pre-natal vitamin. My doc didn't recommend any. I just make sure there is plenty of folic acid.

I take the Spring Valley Prenatal from Wal-mart. I like them and they aren't very expensive. They have the recommended amount of folic acid and they don't make me sick!!

I'm just taking the generics my doctor gave me. She said most of the brands are the same.

I was taking the kind my dr prescribed me but i stopped taking them. I am going to switch to Flinstones.

I'm also taking this brand from Wal-mart and must say I like them! They don't make me nauseous at all which I was worried about. They are cheap too which is nice when I'm spending my money on OPK's and pre-seed hehe

I take the up and up Target brand...there is enough folic acid etc...

I'm taking New Chapter's pre-natals and their DHA suppliments. I love them. I also have them on "subscription" from amazon, so they show up every three months and I actually get a discount for doing that!

I'm from the UK, but I think you can get these in the US - they're called Pregnacare from Vitabiotics. They do a Wellman Conception pill too, so me and partner are both taking them daily. Never make us feel sick or anything.

I take Rainbow Light Prenatal One vitamins, and they are AWESOME!!! They are vegan, contain no wheat, sugars, gluten, or yeast, and contain lots of B vits, 800 mcg of folic acid, and ginger juice to help reduce stomach upset.

You can get them in some Wal-marts, or you can order them.

I've been supplied with Prenatal Plus. The military pharmacy prescribed it to me, and I like them. They keep my nails strong at least, although the taste isn't all too great.

I'm also taking Fertility Blend for Women that has folic acid and B6 and all that stuff, blah blah lol. I bought that from GNC. It's a bit pricey, but I think it helps.

I also take the Spring Valley from Walmart

I started taking the Spring Valley brand tonight and so far so good! I can't believe how much cheaper they were. Is anyone also taking the DHA vitamins?

Safeway Select Pre natal and post pardum (sp?) .. They work great and are really cheap!! You get 100 for like 12 dollars! They have the right amount of folic acid.

My doctor said any prenatal vitamin will do. I prefer Nature Made Softgels. I feel like softgels are easier to absorb ad easier on the stomach.

I just started taking Natures Made Multi Prenatal care....it wasn't much $$ and they aren't huge...and they haven't made me feel sick...

my dr. did say which kind to take as long as it was prenatal and had folic acid.. i take the gummies. they are yummy and don't make me sick. i started with the one a day ones and i was so sick all day so i was worried to try these and they don't make me sick at all!

I also take the Rainbow Light Prenatals, highly recommend!! Can order from Amazon

I take the generic of Stewart prenatals, I prefer the gummies but our pharmacy doesn't carry them and I like a discount ;) I'll probably switch back to the gummies after I get pregnant though because they have Omega 3's and mine don't.

Nope not taking any DHA vitamins just the Spring Valley! Glad you like them so far :)
