Private gender scan!

Hi ladies has anyone ever had a private gender scan at 16 weeks? I have booked one for the 21st December as I wanted to know pink or blue so we can tell everyone at Christmas, the place I am going to has a 99.7% rate of giving the correct gender, I'm so excited xxx

Hi!! How exciting, My friend Becky had one with her first...she was 16 weeks too...they got him spot on! They took a lovely "Potty shot" and it was so obviously a boy, they didnt even need to say the words!! lol

I've just booked a private scan for next week as the waiting lists for dating scans in my area are awful! I'll be around 13/14 weeks by then, so atleast I'll get to see our bubba at around 11 weeks!

How far along are you? xx

Jobells where are you going for your gender scan? I found a private hospital that does 2d/3d/4d nuchal scans (11-13 weeks) and they say at 13 weeks they have 95% success rate on telling you the gender!! I will be 13 weeks also on 21st Dec so want to book and find out if i can.. (also thinking ace xmas present!) my best friend found out she was having a boy from her 13 week private scan...

can't believe they can tell that early... i cant' wait!

I just text my friend and she says that some places could tell by as early as 11 weeks!!! Obviously it's a guide only, but it's crazy to think that they can tell you so early on!! 16 weeks you'll definately know! xx

Hey thanks for the replies, I'm 11 weeks tomorrow can't believe how quick it's going!! That's crazy that they can tell that early, I am having it done at a Babybond clinic near where I live, I too though it would be a lovely christmas present for myself and DH, I also wanted to buy a little outfit in either pink or blue so it will be babies 1st ever Christmas pressie. Only 5 weeks to wait yipppeeee xxx
