But what should EWCM look like?

I've currently got discharge which is coming up really white on my black knickers but I don't know if you would class this as EWCM? Does the EW refer to a cooked or non cooked egg for example? Lol

Sorry for being so clueless. X

Hi Goods!

I haven't examined myself for EWCM before, mainly because I don't ovulate, but I've read that it should be like the consistency of an uncooked egg, and when you place it between your fingers and pull apart it should stretch...I hope that helps a bit...well at least until someone with actual knowledge answers you. :)

That makes a lot more sense. Lol. I'll know what to watch out for then as I've def noticed stretchy cm before. Thank you. X

Yes, the previous poster is correct. However, fertile cervical mucus can also be watery. I myself never have 'egg white' cervical mucous. I know I'm fertile because mine looks like clear watery stuff. It's not stretchy. So either, or anything in between, is fertile. It just can't be white or sticky.

When I wipe it looks watery but it's dried in white to my black underwear. Sorry tmi. Should Is that a problem?

It depends on what it looks like when it's wet. It might dry white-ish, not sure. All my underwear have a white liner on that part lol. What does it look like when it's on your fingers? That's the best way to tell.
