We took LO to have his hair cut yesterday, and he was struggling to sit still (kept looking round to see who was talking and what that snipping noise was). We ended up BFing so the hairdresser could cut it! It worked really well, it meant the only bit he needed to stay still for was the bottom back edge, as his head tipped back to far when nursing to get that bit.

I think it was the most... interesting haircut the hairdresser had done in a while! :haha:

What problems has BFing been a creative solution to for you?

I often nurse to keep lo quiet when shouting infants are frown upon such as carol service in a cathedral and library.

I use it at home when nothing else will settle LO - overtired, over stimulated, teething pain etc.
Hubby tells me off for doing it but it always settles him.

I also used it when we went on hol - during take off & landing kept LO nice and settled & then he was sleepy so had a nice nap for first bit of flight.

I just discovered I can do her hair and nurse at the same time with a pillow. She hates getting her hair done unless she's nursing.

Nursing while cutting her finger nails! But I have to do her right hand when she's nursing on the left side and visa versa!

I'm not producing much milk so lo is on bottles. However, she still likes the boob and it calms her if shes upset. She just doesn't latch very well.
