Procardia anyone?

I was in the hospital yesterday for contractions. They prescribed me procardia when I finally was released. Does it give anyone else terrible headaches? I'm dying here... I've been taking my migraine medicine but its not helping.

I am on procardia and thankgoodness I have not had the headaches but my doctor said it is very common. I instead of flushing where my entire body turns bright red like the worst sun burn and you get really hot!! No fun but anything to keep these babies in longer

I take terbutaline to stop my contractions and I don't get headaches but I do get the flushing and increased heart rate. I hope your migraine goes away soon.

I was on terb and procardia. Procardia was first and it didn't give me redness nor headaches. Luckily, the terb only made me jittery for about 45 mins but then it stopped.

i am now. I got a headache for the first day and a half but it seems to have gone away luckily.

my face has been bright red, though, since a few days after I started it.
(and my hot flashes are becoming way more common/intense. not sure if its related)

Thanks for the replies ladies. My headache has since subsided, thank God. I am starting to notice some dizziness. I don't get any of the flushing at all though.

Is your dizziness constant or regularly paced or anything

I get spells here and there and cant tell if its procardia-caused or unrelated/coincidence.
