Prolonged labour

I've been having contractions every 10 mins consistently for almost 17 hours now, totally exhausted and no progress. Also had bloody show about 4 hours after they started. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry I havent had anything like this yet. Have you called your doctor or MW? Maybe you could try to take a nap until things progress more...

I would contact dr/midwife or go to labor and delivery if they do not calm down, contracting too much for too long can lead to distress to the baby, get checked out hun

sorry to hear your having such a hard time my friend was in prolonged labour when she had her little boy and it was cos he was back to back.. perhaps thats whats happening to you? Definately phone in the L&D department - its been a bit long They might put you on that drip that stimulates your contractions to come faster / stronger.
