Prometrium question

Hey girls... I was just wondering what days you took prometrium on. My doctor said to start on day 16. I'm going to take it next month with clomid and estradiol. I don't remember him telling me what day to stop. This cycle I started taking it on 10 dpo. I'm just not when to stop and af should arrive tomorrow. I'm calling tomorrow to check. Just wanted to ask you.

Well I don't think you should take it until you know you've ovulated, because it can stop ovulation if it hasn't happened already. I think you should stop when AF shows up, because then you aren't pregnant. If AF doesn't show though, don't stop it suddenly as the sharp decrease in progesterone could induce AF even if you are actually in early pregnancy. If AF doesn't show... TEST

Yes I did O. I did on day 15.. I'm not on CD 27. So AF Should arrive tomorrow. I have a 12 day lp. I have only taken it a few days this cycle. So I guess AF should arrive it I'm not pregnant.

Well like I said, I wouldn't just stop taking it without AF showing up. It can show up even when you are taking it, so I would test first for sure. If you got a BFN, you could consider stopping (or just wait to see if AF shows) but if you got a bfp I would definitely do it under doctor's supervision.
