How would you pronounce Micah? We've started talking about baby names for #2 and both love Micah, but can't agree on pronunciation.

I prefer Me-ka, and my husband prefers Mike-ah. Personally, I wouldn't use the name if we had to drop the h - yes, I'm that picky.

Neither. Technically it is pronounced My-kuh. The K comes in the second syllable rather than the first (like you have written Mike-ah)

It's a name I love, as it is the male version of my sister's name. But too many people pronounce it Mee-kuh (like the singer from years ago) which I dislike.

I'm pronouncing Mike-ah and My-kuh the exact same way so to me, there isn't any difference

I pronounce it Mike-ah. My son has a classmate called Micah and it's pronounced that way Xx Me-ka I would spell Mika, I knew a girl called Mika when I was a kid.

Micah is definitely My-kuh where I come from. It wouldn't actually occur to me to pronounce it Me-kah, as to me that would be Mieke, the girls' name.

I'd never heard it pronounced Mike-ah/uh until my husband said it. We have very different accents so ended up going through YouTube pronunciation videos, all of which were different

I always say Me-kuh. I cant help it, even when people tell me it's like My-kuh. I don't like the way My-kuh sounds at all. All I can think of is dudes called Mike.

I say it like Meek-uh (which I think is the same as you're saying Me-ka, unless I'm way off ) as that's the only way I've heard it pronounced IRL- I didn't even know there was another pronunciation!
