Hi everyone, My husband and I have been ttc for about a yr now. I'm seeing a fertility doctor. I'm currently taking provera to induce my period since my last period was 4 months ago.. Its been 4 days since I'm done my 7 days course of 10mg provera/day for 7 days..I'm was just wondering if anyone was succesful on their first try..I've also read that femera may cause birth defect so I'm kinda scared to take it...Help give me some answers.
Thank you!

I know lots of women find success on the first cycle of clomid (my sister had twins her first cycle). Femera isn't as widely used so I don't know if it has the same rates. It is still a common drug for inducing ovulation though. I haven't heard of a significant risk associated with Femera. It doesn't have the risk of multiples as much as clomid does either.

If your lack of ovulation is your only problem it is likely the femera will do the trick if it works for you. Are they monitoring you to make sure it works? Since you are seeing a fertility specialist I am assuming they checked both you and your husband out for other problems??

Thanks for the info. Yes my husband and I are normal, plus I'm being monitor to see if I'm ovulating. I still have hope.
Thanks!
