I wanted to open a discussion about PUL (pregnancy of unknown location) and Methotrexate after IVF. The last 2 weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions. I have been in and out of the doctors office a million times and my beta has been all over the place, see below. I received (2) doses of MTX (9/19 & 9/23) and my numbers are still rising.
My numbers are too low for them to see where the pregnancy is. Has anyone had a similar experience?
I am waiting to hear back from my doctor to see what the next step is. I am hoping they continue to monitor me and my HCG start to drop soon. I really don't want to get a 3rd dose.
I would love for you to share your PUL/MTX experience and what the outcome was. I am sorry to any of you that have been through this or an ectopic. It is a physically and emotionally draining when you don't know what your body is doing.
