bump (sorry) just dont want other mums and babies suffering when a test could help.

Signed :) so sorry to hear about your little one, I hope she is ok and gets well soon, *hugs* to you and your little girl :hugs:xxx

I think I saw something about this on the one show ageeees ago, there is a hospital that uses it, can't remember where!!!

you're right hun, it was on the one show and it featured a London hospital I think. It is being trialed in 1 in 5 hospitals at the moment. We need it in all. The test is also successful in catching chest infections.

I dont know about you but I'd rather leave hospital with my newborn trusting that every test has been done to check he/she is healthy. Especially when a missed diagnoses could be life or death. My little girl would not be alive today if I hadnt pushed for someone to see her. It took her health to get so bad before we could get a diagnoses. When the Cardiologist told me I had done the right thing and saved my daughter's life I was shocked. He told me she wouldnt have lived past Jan 2013. I dont want other mums to go through what I have. I'm lucky we got my daughter diagnosed before we lost her, I just want to stop other mums having the same experience. I want other heart babies to have a better chance at the start of their difficult lives.
