Hi everyone

I only bf for 10 days before switching to formula. My milk supply was excellent it took me weeks to dry up I think LO was 8 weeks and I was still getting a little. Anyway I won't make excuses for giving up apart from I was stupid and not educated on how hard it is to establish BF I assumed because it's natural it will be easy..how stupid! I beat myself up constantly about it and lately I've got to a point where I hate feeding LO as I feel so guilty. I had a read up and found out It is possible but really really hard work. LO refuses to latch now he just crys and turns away. If I hired a medical grade pump would it be possible to build up a milk supply again? I thought if I even had any milk there LO might take an interest again? Has anyone heard of people doing this? I know ladies have done it after 5-6 weeks but 3 month+ am I insane to even think it could happen?

Xx

Of course not! I did it! Have a read through my thread in my sig, ot'll give you an idea of how hard it is, but still very possible!! If you've any questions please feel free to pm me! :)

Thanks hun, il have a read through now. Was talking to OH about it and getting the pump it's only hired so at least if it doesn't work out il only have it for the month.
