I am having real trouble choosing a potential buggy for a toddler (will be just over two when the baby gets here) and a baby.

I did see one I really liked today - and the hubbie liked it as well. The buggy we saw was the Britax B-dual. It is a tandem, is supposedly easy to fold and allows for multiple options (i.e. combination front and rear facing).

I was wondering if anyone had this buggy or were looking to get it. Pros and cons would be useful as well. It is so difficult getting a buggy that suits a toddler and baby - I don't want to get a buggy board either.

phil & teds is one we have been eyeing up

im looking at the icandy peach blossom.... carry cot or car seat for bubs and proper seat for toddler

We've gone for the Baby Jogger Mini Double. Neither H or I are keen on Tandems for ourselves; but I do like the P&T ones when I see others using them.

I hated the look of the b dual - seemed a bit flimsy to me. Have a look at the Baby Jogger City Select, Obaby Zoom, for later on the Joovy Caboose Ultralight, and my favourite new find on ebay - Bertini Bidwell 905 with toddler seat. All of these, except the joovy and bertini, are kind of expensive though. I'll be getting mine from eBay whatever it is! But have to sell the stokke first :(

I have looked but i honestly think we will just be buying a wagon for our son and i will just push her in the stroller, Mainly because we have a stroller i bought without realizing it has a place for my son to stand once the baby is big enough to sit up. I dont think i will waste my money on a double.

my daughter was 2 last week so i dont think i would benefit with a double.

I have just decided to buy a buggy board and fits on my new pram that i bought for baby, i mostly drive, but on school runs will use the buggy board, i hate the thought of pushing a big double down the street (lol thats just me tho).

I do like the icandy peach, but have seen this and the seats are very small, but the pear seems to be a very steardy pram and lovely big comfy seat (this would be the one i would choose).

Good luck in ur search, :)

Make sure you try your toddler in any that you think of buying. Ben is was too tall at 15 months for both iCandy doubles and the first wheels city elite. And too heavy for some tandems meaning i couldnt tip them up curbs etc. After so much deliberation we went for a second hand Jane powertwin pro. I didn't want a buggy board either but I also couldn't justify some of the prices of doubles when I know it's gong to be used for 6 months.

Phil & Teds Vibe is brilliant, u dont have to have it as double so when u toddler demands to walk everywhere u can just take of the double chair. Its very light and can be folded quite small (got it in the boot of my clio). I would say defo get the cacoon that fits in for the new born though it makes getiing him/her out alot easier if your out and about, otherwise u have to start dismenteling bits which can be a pain. Worth a thought x

I don't like the ones where you have one baby sitting basically in the shopping basket section, they can't see anything and are near the floor.

my daughter will be just under 2 and i have bought the baby jogger city select. Its fab!!
