question about babies heartbeatsw

i saw a flicker t 6.5 weeks but i wouldnt worry until 8weeks

The doctor told me the earliest you can usually see the heart on an ultra sound is about 6 weeks but you won't be able to hear it on a doppler until at least 10 weeks, and sometimes even 13 or 14 weeks because the baby is so little and moving around it can be hard to find it, or hear it if its too far back.

I've heard the earliest you can see them on an ultrasound is around 6w (in some cases) - 8w (in most cases). I can confirm that I saw this LO's heartbeat at 8w.

As for doppler, it depends on the shape of your uterus and LO's position. Typically, anywhere from 10w-14w.

At 6 weeks and 1 day I heard my little ones heartbeat at 118bpm. Sadly that was the only time we got to hear it.

I got to see baby and hear it's heartbeat at Dr's office with external scan at 7+4, but I've heard as early as 5-6 weeks from those that go in earlier. A doppler, like a 3mhz for home use, can take much longer to hear a hb on especially for overweight women. Most say by early 2nd tri you can hear baby's hb with those kinds.
