question about beta test

Hi everyone.

I have a question. I am 5 days late for AF. I am NEVER
late. In fact, I can be a day or two early each month. but never late. I
have no usual pms symptoms. I only have mild cramping on and off for about 10 days or so.

Anyway, I went to Dr. this past Monday (I was 3 days late at the time) and
had blood work done. They did testing on all my hormone levels and did a beta. They confirmed that I ovulated this month. My beta was negative.

Soooo, I wanted to know if there were any ladies out there that tested negative on a blood beta test but were pregnant. I'm wondering if it was too soon to show. My doctor commented that with her pregnancy, she didn't get a positive til she was a week late.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

oh also.....had bbt dip around 9po and then went back up around 11dpo. has been 98.4

If it isn't showing up in your blood test, it could still be possible as long as you ovulated late and just haven't implanted yet. There are women out there who didn't have their pregnancy show up on a urine test until they were late, but the bloods are a little more definite than the urine tests.

You mentioned a temp tip...can you post your chart? We love charts around here
