question about boobs

hiya ladies, as title suggests i have a question about boobs, which i feel i should alredy know as this is my third baby, well im 18 weeks today and this morn i woke up feeling "normal" for the first time in ages, so i started to worry a bit, i went for a bath and as i was drying my boobies i looked down and saw i had clear liquid comin out hich im guessin is colostrum?? not had i before, usually only get it after iv had baby, so i gave them a lil squeeze and a lot come out.... is this normal?? i asked mum in law for advice but as its been 13 years since she had a baby i thought id see if any one here was having the same thing XXX

yep - absolutely normal I didn't remember it starting this early either!

Perfectly normal. Some women will leak early on. I read in a forum earlier this morning of a woman who leaked and that's how she knew to take a hpt. She said she was 3 weeks along, I believe. I have had a little about 3 weeks ago, but not a lot, and none since. I don' think it is actual colostrum yet though either, just a clear liquid.

Normal. One of my first pregnancy signs this time was leaking! It ended in first tri, though, and so far hasn't come back that I have noticed. It's perfectly normal!

thanks for replies, good to kno its normal, and good to know im not alone yeah its clear liquid, which i was told was colostrum as its what i had when i first fed my babies. my left boob seems to have more than the right which explains why it felt like i was carrying a bowling ball around in my bra gotta love being pregnant x

very normal I think! I had clear liquid that could come out up until a few weeks ago, now it looks like colostrum but only comes out if I squeeze my nipples!!

okay so what does colostrum look like then coz this is clear and iv always been told that shat colostrum is? im confused now lol its not like its comin out on it sown, as i was dryin myself i rubbed my boobs so kinda stimulated my nipples i guess, iv had a bit of a squeeze since to see if it was my imagination and its defo still there lol!! also when should i be feeling movement as i cant remember when i felt my boys :/ x

I remember colostrum being really sticky - like the last few weeks before DS showed up and until my milk came pads and my bras just stuck to them. And maybe slightly yellowish? Feels like a lifetime ago...

Mine started leaking at around 14 weeks a haven't stopped! And yes they leak more when you rumb them at get your nipples going! I have clearish liquid so I now have the same question...is this colostrum? I thought colostrum was whiteish?

yes thats normal, its happened to me before very early on in pregnancy

my boobs feel normal now too..not even as full as they were. i dont have any leakng this preg but did with my youngest and early too

Sounds like colostrum. It's clear ish with a yellowy tinge, thicker than milk and sticky. It doesn't turn white until after baby is born and your milk 'comes in'

Some women leak early, some don't leak at all, all is normal. (Just like some women leak while they are breastfeeding and others don't).

Like syrup?? My leakage is more way more watery than syrup! It will literally drip off my nipples and run down my breasts. I have to wear breast pads 24/7.

Lol yeah it's not runny, if I squeeze a bit out it just stays on my nipple in a big blob lol, iv noticed I'm starting to stick to my bra Aswell x
