Question about Cycles after Birth Control

ladies. I really hope someone can help me.

I was on the Nuva Ring from April until September 2013. September was my first month free of birth control. I got my period September 28th, and another one on October 24th, 2013.

My cycles were very regular when I was on birth control, which I am super happy about. I have never had a regular cycle before.

I am using OPK's and trying to figure out my cycles before we actually TTC in January, as far as figuring out when I ovulate approximately should I use just the last cycle as the 1st cycle, since that was no birth control, and the other cycles were. My last cycle was 26 days, so should I go off of that.

I hope this all makes sense for you ladies. Any advice would really help.

Yes,thats what I would do.

I would use the first non birth control period as your first cycle, as the other cycles had outside influences affecting what your body was doing. If you have any questions about when you ovulate, I would suggest getting a ovulation predictor kit to help figured out what day you ovulate.
