question about early scans

Hi ladies,

I'm new to this forum but hoping you ladies can help me.
I had a mmc in december and an ERPC in january as my body retained the sac.

When I was in hospital the doctor mentioned that next time I'm pregnant I might have an early scan at 7 wks to check baby is growing in the right place and not eptopic.

Just wondering how I go about arranging this? Do I call the early pregnancy unit or will my doctor sort this out?

Hi,
I don't know if I can really help answer your question as I'm in Ireland but it was Doctor who made my appointment after I confirmed the pregnancy with her. I'd maybe ask your GP about it and I'm sure that if they don't do it for you that they will give you the number and you can then contact them yourself. Gl

I don't see a mw until my booking appt at 8 wks though and with my last pregnancy I didn't see one until 10 wks.
