Oh no! I've added nothing but 0-3 month sizes to my registry. :dohh: Should I go back and add some newborn sizes?

I think some ladies do just go 0-3 months but imo I prefer to get some newborn as I found 0-3 buried my lo. Lol. Xx

Yeah, I would get at least some things in newborn sizes. My kids swam in 0-3 for awhile, and one of my daughters was 9lbs. 4oz!

It's probably a good idea to register for 0-3 and then just get a few newborn clothes. Some babies are big enough to not need newborn at all, and others need them for just a week or two, so you may not need many in that size.

My DS was in 0-3 from birth because he was long! Was only 7lb9 born and went down to 7lb but the 0-3 fit him fine.
They are supposed to fit up to 14lb... :-/

Most of the things I buy now are 0-3 months and if it's a propper outfit 3-6 as I think he will be a bit too small for little jeans etc..I just have some newborn sleep suits as I have been told they are most comfortable like that but what would I know.

Best not to buy too much and just see what LO likes when they are born :haha:

My DS weighed 8lbs 10 at birth he could be squeezed into newborn lol but wasn't a very comfy fit so I just brought only 0-3months and they fitted well, not too big or baggy, it's really hard because you never know if the baby will weigh lots but be short or long or tiny lol I'd say maybe get a little newborn and a little 0-3months but I don't really buy clothes until the baby's arrived that way I can get the correct size clothing..so like last time I'm only buying a few 0-3months then shopping as soon as baby's here..x

You will need some unless you have a 10 lber.

I remember with my first between the dr saying to expect a huge baby (when she was a normal 7 lb 14 oz) and some forum research saying newborn clothes were too small for a larger baby I brought 1 zero to 3 outfit and the rest 3-6 months! Haha. What did I know?? It was my first.

Nurse was like why did u bring giant clothes?? When she tried to dress her.

Also - buy sleep suits that button up. If you're anything like me trying to get a onesie (or vest as I think u guys call it) over a wobbly newborn head is panic inducing. And I did not need the stress 2 days postpartum

They are bigger, and add 3-6, 6-9 to registry too or you will have a lot of 0-3 not worn. I us nb sleepers, have around 10, then everything else is 0-3 +. My son was 7lb 2oz and only used nb for 3 weeks.

DS didn't fit in NB at all. He was 9lb15oz and 26 inches long. I'm prob going to buy 1 pack of "up to 1 month" suits and the rest in 0-3 months as I'm expecting another boy so doubt he'll be less than 8lb.

Mine were in newborn til about 3 months. I hate baby clothes that swamp babies, they look awful! x
