Question about Provera??

Hello to all. I am a newbie to BnB, but not to ttc. I have been ttc for four years now. After a few tests at the OBGYN, I was informed that I am not ovulating. So, I was put on Provera and Clomid. This is my 4th day on Provera. My question is...I have read that the usual dose is 10mg for 5-10 days. I have been prescribed to take two 10mg pills (20 mg) for ten days. Any ideas why my dosage is double the usual? Thankfully, I have not had any side effects so far.

Maybe they noticed something in your bloodwork that made them want to put you on a higher dosage of the provera?

Good luck. I also don't have any noticeable side effects on provera, or clomid.
