question about scan

i had scan 13days ago thought was 12weeks but was only 10+1 i noticed on my pic that there was a blob above babies head, would tht be sac. This is third peeg an nvr seen it on other scans but my earliest scan in past was 7-9weeks nvr one 10 wks. i have my 12week scan today at 11.40

Did the sonogropger not explain what the blob was? I'm sure they get there nutrition from yolk sack till 12 weeks then the placenta takes over.

When you go for your next scan just ask any question you may think of, I'm sure they will happily explain everything to you. X

this is scan when was 10+1.

had scan today thinking dead on 12 when m now 12+2 an didnt see blob but she commented on yolk sac?. i didnt ask aboutl ast scan tough.
