question about sleeping again....

i know i keep posting messages about how naughty summer is a night lol, and that i have tried everything. so tonight im going to try and ignore her for abit because as soon as she wake i jump up and see to her, so my question is how long can you leave a 6 month old to whinge/cry before getting up and seeing to her?

I leave my Lo to whinge untill i see the whinging is turning into distress and he's not calming down, then i pick him u, get him to relax to a point where he's almost dropping off then put him down. If he starts cryng and not whinging, then i pick him up immediately.

generally, he's getting better but its not working as fast as i thought it would.

I would give it long enough that you know she is awake and needs you and not just making noise in her sleep.

do you think that if i do this long enough she will get the hint and either learn to settle herself or not wake up at all, as she is waking up atleast 10 times a night!
