Question for childminders

im not a childminder yet but am thinking about starting the course in september
ring ur local council and they should beable to help u, they will have dates of the next briefing sessions and when the pre-reg course starts, all areas are different, where i live they dont fund any of the courses anymore so i have to pay £215 for it and its no longer a 6 week course, its 12 weeks and it includes homework like assignments, abit annoying for me as i have level 2, 3 and 4 qualification in childcare but i still have to do the course
theres then first aid to do aswell, safeguarding too, mine is included in the 12 week course but everywhere runs it differently
so like i say give them a ring and im sure they can help
