Question for those who know which side they ovulate from

Hello!

This might seem an odd question.
Are your cycles different for the side the ovary is at work?

Example:
Right ovary - Ovulated on CD15 (October)
Left ovary = Ovulated on CD18 (November)

My question is, should every cycle be the same? I know that the ovaries take it in turns to ovulate, so wondering whether this cycle for me will again be on CD15!

TIA

I've always ovulated on my left primarily, I can tell because I get the mittelschmertz pain on that side. Maybe once a year I will ovulate on the right side, and I don't know if there is any science behind this but the periods where I ovulate on the right side are HELL. O so much worse. I bleed for 3-4 days normally but dropping right side eggs makes me bleed for 7 days, have horrible cramps, nausea, dizziness...the first day I always have to call in sick if I'm due for work. On my left side I ovulate on or around day 14, but I always seem to ovulate a little earlier on my right side. I don't know if that means anything to you but from my experience I guess you could expect the pattern to continue for you.

Thank you! I understand. My ovulation pains (also diagnosed M-S) are worse than a period.
