Questions about SMEP....

Just curious who has tried this method or is currently trying it? Has it worked for you? How many cycles? Any opinions or input? I think we may try it next cycle if we are not lucky this cycle and would just like feedback. Currently on cycle #2. Thanks!

I've been looking into this too and will follow it more strictly next month if I get a bfn...still in it this month [currently 8dpo].

We did a revised sort of smep from what I remember, it's basically BD every other day starting cd 8 while using opks and then upon getting +opk BD 3 days in a row then skip then again just in case.

We bd'd almost every other day starting when I finished AF then BD'd the times a combo of opk's and FF fertile days told us to for 5 days up until the day after O. We didn't wait a day then BD again like it said.

If we are ttc again month though, I'll follow it to the letter, it can't hurt!

Myself and DF are currently doing this! We're on our third cycle TTC but this is our first doing SMEP.

We BD'd on CD8 and 10. Today is CD 12, so we'll BD tonight every other day until i get my +OPK (should be this Wednesday). Then we'll BD on the day I get my +OPK, the following two days after, skip a day, then BD once more. I'm feeling quite positive about this month!

Yeah, it sounds like you've got a great shot for this month! Good luck and FX'ed for ya!

I am currently on CD13 and my last cycle was 38 days, so if this cycle is anything like last, I'm not expecting to O for at least another week. We BD'ed today and I think from here til then we will try to every other day, and then every day for 3 days in a row. Hopefully that'll work, but like you said, if not, we will follow it more strictly next cycle.
