Questions for 1st Midwife appointment

hiya ladies.
i would love you all to help me with my questions for midwife appointment.
all i got so far is

*HIPG

my mind has gone blank.

ive got it on the 16/9/10
so all the help u lovely ladies can help me with would be great.

I'd ask which tests you'll be offered and when - e.g. does your hospital offer nuchal fold tests?

some hospitals (not mine) will measure the fluid at the back of babies neck to get a measure of the risk of downs syndrome. Instead my hospital do triple blood tests at around 16 weeks.

They'll give you your green notes and should write down at what point your future appts will be so that will help you plan it in your mind!

possible ask about hospital choices/care plans/services available to you, scans, tests regarding baby health, folic acid/prenatal supliments, pregnancy groups, family medical history-how it affects baby, baby heart beat/CRL size, pregnancy grants/when available/if available to you, anything that may cause you worry...hope that helps a little x x
