I am new here, and have a lot of questions. Please excuse a lot of questions in one post. I am 3wks+6d preggo, and I have an 8 year old son. I really don't remember having a lot of symptoms at all with my son. Today I was fine this morning, till I sat down on the couch, and bent down to pick up my sock. All of a sudden my stomach started hurting. It wasn't extreme pain, as I could still talk to my son, but it was enough that I had to lie down as it hurt when I moved. It was really weird as it hurt when I moved or pushed on my stomach. Not always, though. I was okay when I stayed still and relaxed, but hurt when I tried to get up or move. Lasted for about 10-15 minutes maybe. I felt fine afterwards. I don't have any bleeding or other symptoms, but I am still worried about this as it was bizarre. With my pregnancy with my son I barely even had any contractions till they finally induced me. Is this normal? Is it a reason for concern?

Also I wanted to ask a question about if you think I was able to test too early. Everyone is amazed we found out early. I tracked about 5 periods before my wedding to see how often they come. (Yes, this is a honeymoon baby!) None we're the same, as they ranged from 22 days to 28!. So, my last period was on August 14th, and we were married on August 21st. We didn't have sex till honeymoon night. We were on our honeymoon from the 21st-28th. On August 31st I took a test out of curiousity and got a really faint line. On September 2nd, got a positive on two tests. Figured the period would come sometime from September 5th-11th, and the test says 5 days early. No idea which day I actually got pregnant. But was able to tell earlier, just due to my cycle being shorter? Getting tired of having to explain it to people that it is possible to find out that early, as we did! My husband and I both doubt I got pregnant honeymoon night. We believe it to be the middle of the week.

Okay, sorry so many questions and info. in one post! Thanks for any help!

This is my first pregnancy so i cn only say whats happened to me to see if it helps you..
The tummy aces you described i always get them :( im not worried tho aslong as theres no blood :) I know its normal to get pains in your tummy (i asked my midwife to put my mind at rest) Ive had them since i found out about 4-5weeks and im now 10 weeks.. Im sure your fine :)

As for the cycle and that i really dont know sorry my cycle was all over the place so im no help on that..

Good luck tho with your pregnancy and congratulations :) xx

sounds like you got pg sometime soon after your honeymoon...:) congrats! sorry about the stomach pain, I would say if it comes back, ask your doctor for advice...I hope you don't have to though...welcome to first Tri :)

Thanks for the comments! I hope it doesn't come back, and that all is well to! Thank you!

Welcome and congrats on both the wedding and bfp!

I tested at 3wks + 3days too - what's the harm in knowing? Even if it turns out bad, that's important information. Every day you know about it is a day you can take care of yourself properly.

As for when you conceived, could have been first night, because sperm can live inside for several days before ovulation.

Cramps are normal in early pregnancy - just your uterus making room. Nothing to worry about unless there's spotting.

Take care!

Thanks for the comments! I was able to set up our first appointments with the Dr. we chose. Talked with a nurse as well about the stomach pains and they said if the worsen or blood happens to call them or the ER. She thinks it was probably just a symptom of pregnancy, although she did say she was surprised I'd feel any "growing" pains yet. I pray all goes well! Thank you again!

It could be your ligaments as the hcg hormone relaxes your muscles & ligaments. If you make movements your not used to at the minute it can stretch further than normal and hurt. I went for a 'brisk' walk at about 9 weeks. Felt fine. Sat down for an hour was fine. Stood up and was in agony across my pelvis. Sat down was fine, stood was in pain!! Mw said not to worry it's just body adjusting. Xxxx

i got my first bfp very late night 8dpo. so it is definitely capable to find out super early. i've known for over 2w and i'm only 6+1 and no one knows on my families side yet.
