So my son is 28 months, we have been potty training for the last 3 months steadily, hes caught on to the concept of peeing in the potty, and will occationally go number 2, but i really really want him fully potty trained by the time this baby is born, seeing as he will be almost 3.

He will not use a little potty, we tried for a month, he absolutly hates them, so we went and bought a seat that sits on our toilet and its seems to be working alot better. but im running out of ways to incourage him to tell us he has to go. we tried the sticker charts, hes only interested if he sees it on the wall, we have tried treats as well, ill give him a pack of fruit snacks, or a cup of chocolate milk when he go's to try and get him interested.

and although he will go, im confussled as to how to get him to remember and tell us, at the moment i put him on the potty when he wakes up, at about 10am, right after lunch, about 3pm right after supper and then before bed. I also litterally ask him ever 10 minutes, but he always tells me he doesnt have to and i dont want to push it on him, i mean if he doesnt have to go he doesnt. The funny thing is, is he hates sitting in a wet/poopy diaper, as soon as he pees he takes his pull ups off throws in out and puts a new one on.

the other opstical we have is out bathroom is upstairs, we only have one bathroom, anyone who has other tips as to how to get him to go, i would really appreciate it.

just so you know we have a teen parenting section
https://www.babyandbump.com/teenage-parenting/ :)

There's a Teen Parenting section that might help you a bit more with this, so it's probably a good idea to post this there as well.
My niece is potty training and they're having the same problem with getting her to tell us when she needs to go, no solution as of yet I'm afraid. :/

Thanks ill definatly post in there to =)

I have heard of people using fruit loops/cheerios in the potty to get their boy to aim at that when he pees, so its sort of like a game, that might get him excited about it and he will remember to tell you.

humm, i have never heard of that lol, ill definatly have to see if he would, hes kind a girl he would probably look at me and ask to flush cause theres yuckys in the potty haha
