Hi ladies I was just wondering something....why is it a big deal if OPK's touch HPT's while wet? I have seen this said when photos are presented with both so was wondering
I asked in the TTC forum but besides 2 other ladies who were curious the answer no one in there seems to wanna answer one of my questions again so figure I post here, thank you in advance ladies and hope everyone is doing well

yes! Ovulation predictor tests (OPK's) contain different antibodies than pregnancy tests (HPT's.) If you place a wet pregnancy test too close to an OPK (so that they're touching) the OPK can actually contaminate the pregnancy test and cause 2 lines to appear, even if there is no pregnancy hormone (hCG) in the urine.
