Quick question :)

I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks last Monday I stopped bleeding Friday, I took a opk yesterday Out of curiosity and it has 2 lines, not as strong as the control line but not far off. I'm just wondering if it's possible to ovulate this quick after a miscarriage Tia Amy xx

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarraige at 9 weeks in April. Opk also measure the pregnancy hormone and that is what it is probably picking up. I am no docter so I may be wrong but it can take a couple of weeks for that hormone to go back to zero. But hey nothing is impossible. Good luck.

I also think it might be the pregnancy hormone being picked up. You can always try a frer pregnancy test to confirm that the hormones are still present. In my experience once you stop bleeding your cycle should continue on as a regular cycle.

I had the same thing happen last thursday I was about 5weeks too... did you go to the dr when it happened? I went to the ER & my hormone levels were only 16 (so obviously barely enough to show on hpt, my hpt cheapie strips never got dark) waiting for my OPKs to come in the mail, hopefully my cycle goes back to normal.. try a hpt & see if you get a line too? I get a line on my OPKs almost the whole time up until I get a definite + then it goes white again..

Thanks for the reponses my tests started coming back negative while I was still bleeding and I did a hpt today and it's negative. So I'm a little confused xx

First of all, I am sorry to both of you for your losses

When I had my MC, I got my period about 28 days after my MC bleed. I had ovulation pains around a lil less than 2 weeks after my MC so I knew it was a real cycle. I believe it is absolutely possible.

hmm... i'm thinking mine was more of a chemical, I got "pregnant" on a digi & light lines on the line HPTs but the lines never got darker even after a couple days I got some more OPKs today took one just to see, the line was there, def not positive but it wasn't an obv. negative too.. going to take one tomorrow to see if its getting lighter or darker. I've been having light brown spotting for the past like three days so i'm pretty sure I'm not near O time.. but I did read your more fertile after a chemical/miscarriage until your cycle regulates again, so hoping thats true! I have my follow up on thurs, so i guess we'll see what they say.
