Hi everyone,
I am a quilting newbie, and can't figure out where to get the fabric I need in order to get started! I am really keen to get into quilting but I really don't know where to start. If anyone has any websites they would recommend that would be fantastic! I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance!

These are some sites I've had fabric from

The 'My Mind's eye' fabric is gorgeous!!!

Might have to dust off the credit card:haha:

Hello! I'm a quilting addict. My biggest advice for a beginner would be to make a brick path quilt instead of a regular patchwork (squares) quilt. If you search for "brick path quilt" you'll see what I mean--the nice thing for a beginner is that, since the blocks are offset from each other, there are no places where the corners have to line up. If you do a traditional patchwork quilt out of squares, the corners have to be pretty well in line or it looks wonky (trust me, I've made my share of wonky quilts!).

Good luck!

Just saw this reply now! Thanks for the advice, I googled brick path quilt and have a pattern now that I am hoping to try out soon. I bought some lovely fabric that I am waiting on arriving so when that arrives I will get cracking! I have an image in my head of how I want it to turn out, but as it is my first go I'm hoping I wont be disappointed!
