I have narrowed it down to The Quiny zapp extra bought new or a 2nd hand quinny buzz 3 with carrycot and I can't decide can any of you give me or your experience / advice or your preference on these 2, the zapp extra has no carrycot but it would be new and it's really really light. The buzz is sturdier but heavier and has carrycot but is second hand though the description says excellent condition and only minor scuffs to the tyres and frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated xxx

My sister has the zapp xtra and its brilliant, really light, easy to push and manouver. Though her little boy only went in it at 3 months as its prob not suitable without the carseat for newborns, but the actual seat is very comfy and he sleeps/travels in it far more comfortably than the pushchair they have that fits the carseat on (her MIL bought it)

Hope this helps??

Forgot to say, theres a lady on ebay that sells really cool covers for quinny pushchairs at a really good price. Not sure if we are allowed to post links or not but here it is!

I'd say the zap if they were a bit older, i have the buzz and as its a full travel system you can do all the options and its fab, i love it on and off road. Only things to consider is the width of the base as you need to check your boot and its quite heavy x

They are both 2 totally different systems.
I personally am not a fan of the Buzz i didnt like mine when i had one found it heavy not nice to push and the wide back wheels were a pita going around shops.
The Zapp xtra imo is more a stroller for quick trips around town or for a toddler if you walk everywhere it wouldnt be the best imo i love the Zapp's but not as a everyday pram for a newborn iykim. There isnt much suspension the wheels are small so baby will feel every bump if walking also it wouldnt be as cosy as the buzz for a newborn as it doesnt have a carrycot.

Have you looked at the Bugaboo Frog/Cameleon or Babystyle Oyster i would go for either of them over the Buzz or Zapp Xtra for a newborn, both can be picked up cheaply enough 2nd hand.

Tori loves the zapp Xtra, shes always smily in it!

I decided on the buzz over the Zapp and glad I did, it's lovely, light & can't wait to use it with the maxi cosi car seat. Later on when I need a just a stroller & not a travel system I will get the Zapp, but the buzz just seems better for babies.
