1) how do you clean the potty after a poo?

2) once your LO is potty trained and out of vests with poppers, what do you use for underwear?
(edit - I mean under their t-shirts)

you're welcome to add your question! :flower:

1) wet wipe and water for quick rinses with added water and disinfectant every so often to keep fresh
2)we went straight to pants but had stopped putting him in gros at a similar time.

1) After poop, I like to rinse with water for most of it, then use a chlorox (bleach) wipe to disintect it.

2) We are bold and don't use undershirts. Except for a couple of plain white camisoles under a scratchy sweater dress. In the boy's department you can buy the plain white undershirts if you want them.

Rinse with water then fill with warm water and soap or wipe with wet wipe. I prefer soapy water, DH prefers wiping.

We don't do undershirts, I think its a weather difference. Even on cold days DS just wears a single layer shirt indoors. We wear underwear.

We spray with anti bac spray then wipe out with toilet paper. I got some vests in Asda only £2.50 for a pack of 3. They are just like adult vests with no poppers. She only wears a vest if its chilly.

Mine never pooped on the potty chair, only peed on it. He didn't poop on toilet until the week he decided to fully train, and by then he was mainly using the actual toilet all the time. He did pee in the potty chair a lot during training, though, which we rinsed and wiped out with disinfectant wipes as needed.

We never used popper shirts under clothes. Seems like just more clothes to wash to me...They are plenty warm in the clothing they have on, so I guess I just have never seen the point.

When she used the potty, regardless of whether it was a poo or pee we emptied it, rinsed with water and used antibacterial cleaner. Thankfully she didn't use potty long, toilet is sooo much easier.

We buy her vests without poppers and she wears one every day just now while it's cold x

Same! I always use vests in the winter but just these type of cheap ones, they get mishapen quickly anyway (even the ones we've had from next).

I wash out potty with water and toilet paper with a little Dettol spray on it.

you can get little vests from asda etc for wearing after potty training. when my first daughter was potty trained she was still wearing 9-12 mth clothing so my mum (who is a dressmaker) altered all the vests we had aswe could get vests until she was wearing 18-24mths (which was when she was about three!)
