Sorry for ranting ladies but i need to let off some steam, DH lost his job a couple of weeks ago, great timing it was 2 weeks after i got my bfp anyway he is doing his best to find something else and quickly but he is at home all day now (when he's not at interviews) yet he doesn't think to help out by doing a bit of ironing or preparing dinner. I was unsure about my job a few weeks ago as we are having some big changes but now things have settled down and it seems we are going to be busier than ever so i'm working my ass off at work, worrying about how we're going to pay the bills next month and eat let alone how we are going to manage to provide for a baby! And keeping the house all whilst being absoultley knackered!

I keep snapping at him which isn't good and i try not too but i don't think he understands how much this is all getting to me! Anyway rant over sorry girls just need to vent and as my pregnancy is still pretty much a secret here is the only place I can do it lol :flower:

lauz - sorry to hear your hubby lost his job :( and I know its hard to find another one! I agree he should be helping you more, have you tried explaining to him that he should be helping? Hope things get sorted soon?

id sit him down and put that into perspective for him! Tell him how much your doing and say u need support and u appreciate hes trying for another job but u need to have help with other things or else u risk overdoing it?x

Just give him a list - men can handle lists!

like the list idea hee hee feeling better now was just mega stressed this morning and
very tired after a few nights of not sleeping well :)

Yes, if you give him a list, he will work on it.

My husband was laid off from his job nearing two months ago, so it has been tough. Employment insurance has been giving him the run-around as well. :(

To top it off, my work has not been busy, so money is getting tight around here (and we just bought a new house)

He is pretty much decided he will take any position, but in a city with a huge unemployment rate... it's tough.

Don't apologize for ranting. It makes you feel better.
