Did you happen to get the 'doctor's' name? I would write a complaint about him. What if it was something really serious? He just let you walk out of there without even looking at you ffs!
As for the silly receptionist, don't listen to people like that. I have had people tell me I'm big and small for my dates. Two people have told me I don't look pregnant I look "like I've put on weight" (charming). People mean well I'm sure but there is no 'right' thing to say to a pregnant woman regarding her bump. You have a beautiful bump hon
