Real or Fake Christmas Tree?

REAL!!!! Always, always, always real!
I cannot imagine Yule without the smell of conifer and the feel of needles piercing my feet!
We usually do a tree through our local IKEA - it's a charity fundraiser, the trees are sustainably harvested, and you get a coupon to spend at the store.

Also, may I just say how much I love the fact that the person who posted this poll is called "Leafy"?

we had a real one last year and it were amazing (minus the trail of needles when we removed it from the house

this year we will have to have a fake as our little on like to battery everything and im pretty sure it would be bare back after about a week

I have fake and I still get the smell, I stick a pine air freshener in the middle of the tree

I have a fake corner tree my living room is very compact and it is a great space saver!! Good idea sabby about the pine air freshener!!!

We always have a fake one as I have bad hayfever and the tree sets me off, My brother and his wife always have a real one and pretty much as soon as i walk in the door my eyes and nose are streaming!!

I would love a real one though!!

Fake! LO would constantly be pulling the needles off and we had a real one two years ago and the mess drove me insane and so did the amount of times it prickled me

I grew up with real trees, and have been fighting my corner for real trees for the last 12 years lol... we got a fake one a few years ago and had it up.. wans't bad, but wanted a real tree... so got one last year and it looked terrible by Christmas between the cats and the kids I think this year we might go with the fake one just to be on the safe side... boo!!
